Lewis enters his second season as Head Coach of the V-Hawks. He started at Viterbo as an assistant coach during the 2015-2016 season. Lewis was named interim head coach for the 2017 season and Head Baseball Coach on June 28, 2017.
During the summer, Lewis spends his days as the Field Manager of the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League, an independent summer collegiate baseball league. He served three seasons as an assistant coach before being named Field Manager for the 2016 season. Through his first two seasons, Lewis has led the Loggers to a 69-73 record and has produced seven all-NWL selections.
Before coming to La Crosse, Lewis spent two years as the hitting coach at Illinois Central College (2012-14) and 10 as an assistant coach at Lewis & Clark Communicty College (2001-11).
In addition to his collegiate experience, Lewis spent time in the Independent Professional Frontier League as the Director of Baseball Operations and Hitting Coach for the River City Rascals from 2003-06.
During his coaching career, Lewis has coach four players who moved on to the Major Leagues including Joe Thatcher, Cory Wade, Jeff Gray, and Justin Christian.

Seidel begins his second year with the Viterbo baseball program in 2017, bringing over nine years of professional baseball experience.
The La Crosse, Wisconsin, native was a University of Arkansas commit in 2005 before signing a professional contract with the Milwaukee Brewers organization that following summer in 2006.
Seidel was drafted as a right handed pitcher out of La Crosse Central High School in 2006 by the Milwaukee Brewers and played for eight seasons, reaching the AAA Level.
In 2007 and 2008, Seidel was voted as having the “best changeup” in the Brewers Organization by Baseball America.
In 2013, Seidel compiled 94 strikeouts over 88.2 innings of work in AAA Nashville.
Seidel became a free agent in 2014 and spent a month in the American Association of Professional Baseball with the St. Paul Saints before signing a contract with the Colorado Rockies. He was assigned to the AAA level with the Rockies in 2014 located in Colorado Springs.
In 2015, Seidel signed a contract to play in the Atlantic League of Professional baseball with the Somerset Patriots. He played a vital role in bringing the Patriots organization their sixth League Championship ring.
Prior to retiring in November of 2015, Seidel began his studies with Viterbo University in August of 2016, and is now working part-time for Nabisco in addition to providing private pitching lessons and camps to youth throughout the Coulee Region.
Assistant Baseball Coach | Head Volleyball Coach
Ryan DeLong is the Viterbo women’s volleyball coach where he has one of the most successful programs in the NAIA. He is also an assistant baseball coach. He has coached several other sports at the collegiate and youth levels including softball and basketball. DeLong also coaches youth baseball and provides lessons for youth in the Coulee Region.
